TRAVEL
Travel has always been a huge part of my life (as I guess it is for anyone who has lived in a country dominated by clouds and drizzle), but as time moves forward we are all increasingly aware of the drastic effects of climate change on our planet, and how much travel is impacting this.
When planning this trip, I wanted to ensure that while I want to see what this beautiful World has to offer, it also has to be respected while I do it.
Across the next year, I’ll be taking pretty much every form of transport, from Boeing 747s to questionably-built rickshaws, and my goal is to travel as slowly and sustainably as I can, using public transport as much as is possible and safe.
There is more to life than increasing its speed.

Below are (quite a lot of!) key touchpoints along my planned route, and undoubtedly these will change and adapt as I meet new people, get new advice, and adapt to whatever travel conditions I encounter.
While I want to try to visit as many places as possible, I also want to ensure I do each country justice, and stay true to my slow travel ethos.
So – if there is anywhere you think absolutely should be on the above, or just want to re-iterate to me how amazing one of these places is, please get in touch and let me know!
